Love Music Festival Scotland 1st - 13th November 2010
A festival of live music for young people, presenting a culturally diverse programme of internationally renowned musicians, presenting outstanding musicians alongside excellence & innovation in the interpretation & presentation of live music for young audiences.
The Festival has been conceived and curated by Northern Irish born composer and renowned educationalist Stephen Deazley, and is produced by the organisation Music at the Brewhouse. Stephen is a full time composer, educationalist and music animateur, who has been heralded as a "visionary music maker" and a "champion of music for children". He creates projects and composes music for orchestras, opera companies and ensembles that bring young people, communities and professional musicians together.
Click on the Your Festival Day tab above to discover more about the musicians you'll be hearing & seeing in November, as well as accessing the resources that our music animateurs have put together to help you prepare for your live festival experience.

We've got tracks from all our festival artists on the Jukebox, where you can listen to, rate and tag tracks to your heart's content. You can search by festival day, by artist or by track name and you'll find that a lot of the tracks are referenced in the resources packs that you'll be using in class.

It’s been an amazing tour so far, played some amazing gigs and the reaction from everyone listening has been mind-blowing!
Phew, the past ten days have been quite an adventure. I’ve been to St Andrews, Peebles, Kilmarnock, Stornoway...
So we spent the weekend in Glasgow preparing for next week's tour to the islands and having a break from the minibus.
