Detta: Exploring the Borders

I have just spent a lovely couple of days in the Scottish Borders, working with Eve and Lillias and spending a great day at Newlands Primary School. I can confidently say that the Scottish Borders get a big thumbs up from me!

Highlights include: Meeting Eddie the caretaker at the East Gate Theatre, watching Scotland beat Lichtenstein 2-1, and enjoying a beautiful evening walk around Peebles and through the Jubilee Community Woodland.

Not to forget of course, creating chants out of our Sväng Manifesto style commandments with the guys at Newlands Primary School. Some of my favourites include ‘thou shalt always light your house with lava lamps’ and ‘thou shalt enjoy three puddings a day!’ - brilliant work guys. To hear it yourself, check out the Newlands Primary School folder in the Sharing Space on our Love Music Festival Glow pages.

After creating a crazy Halloween ceremony with Keig primary school yesterday, Eve and myself are now enjoying a lovely morning in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. The sun has come out and we are desperately trying to spot seals in the sea! Next stop Fife…

Oh and finally, I was happy to hear that Eero Turkka from Sväng has just got married... to a lovely Bulgarian lady! So it seems that Love Music Festival is not the only thing bringing Finland and Bulgaria closer together. Congratulations Eero!
