The Pylican

Sarah has designed the kit for a beautiful home-made instrument called The Pylican, which has now been sent out to all schools coming to the Circus Invisible shows during the festival. Click on the Play button on the film above and watch a video of Sarah explaining how to make the instrument.

If you'd prefer to download a PDF file that you can print out to show you how to make the instrument, click on the link below.

We'd love you to share your photos of your finished Pylican, or even better, any videos of your classes playing it, here on our website. Please send them in to us by contacting hello@lovemusicfestival.com - but please do make sure you have permission from the parents of the children in your class first.

She also has a page in our Glow Group where you can ask her questions or upload recordings of performances on your instrument for the other festival attendees to see.

Glow is only available to those within the Scottish schools network - mostly only pupils and teachers. If you haven't yet signed up for Glow or have forgotten your login details, contact your Glow area contact, who will be able to set you up to access the site.

Visit Glow Key Contacts to find and contact the right person for your area.
